Club Hire

Our club is available for hire most Saturday nights from 7PM. If you’re interested in booking, please email us at hbcboatingclub@gmail.com.


Hiring Fees:

$250 for club members

$350 for non-members

A $400 bond is required

Security requirements will be discussed at the time of booking

Please allow at least 5 weeks’ notice for all bookings

The hire fee includes the cost of bar staff for your event. Your bond will be refunded after the event, provided there is no damage or breakages.
If any damage exceeds the bond amount, the member who made the booking will be invoiced for the difference.


Club Function Rules

Member Presence:

The club member hiring the venue must stay for the whole function. If they leave, the event ends.

Alcohol:

No alcohol can be brought in or consumed outside (including the car park).

Intoxication & ID:

Anyone appearing drunk will not be served. Anyone looking underage must show ID to be served alcohol.

Bar Hours:

The bar closes at 11:30 pm. Guests have 30 minutes to finish drinks. Music off and club closed by midnight.

Cleaning:

The club must be cleaned and furniture returned to original spots—either right after the event or by 12 pm the next day.

Catering:

Get a quote from the club’s caterers. If unavailable or overpriced, inform them. Other caterers must be approved by the committee.
All kitchen areas and utensils used must be cleaned immediately. No use of the club’s food or supplies.

Smoking:

No drinking or smoking at the entrance. A smoking area is provided at the back.

Safe Transport:

No drinking and driving. Arrange safe transport for guests.

Bar Manager Rights:

The Bar Manager can close the bar at any time if rules are broken or if there’s fighting or uninvited guests.
